Delayed Checkout options

Do you need the ability to set a delay before the customer see's the checkout fields on a checkout page?

This action is currently possible if the vendor uses their own page and an embed/pop-up checkout with a script to hide the checkout fields for a set amount of time, but would you have a need for this option via checkout pages?
