Subscription Rules for One-Time Purchase Products

I want to be able to add subscription rules to one-time purchase products. Specifically, I need the ability to automatically cancel a customer's existing subscription when they "upgrade" or purchase a one-time product. Currently, these rules are only available for recurring products, which prevents us from automating the cancellation of a previous subscription when a customer moves to a one-time purchase model.
